Lamborghini neglects emission regulations

will not be switching to downsized engines, like Ferrari has been
discussing.
One day after the
video for Edmunds showing the Lamborghini LP560-4 in action, a new
teaser got released on the internet. This time it’s about a promotional
stunt to make public even love the new Gallardo more. As if somebody
had doubts about this car. We’ve put the video after the link, just
lean back and enjoy it!
We saw lot’s of pictures of
the new Gallardo LP560-4 but now we can show you a first test video.
The guys from Edmunds pushed it rather hard and made a nice review of
it. Open up your speakers and enjoy the sounds of a 5.2 liter strong
V10 producing 560 bhp…
Last saturday was a special day in the Czech Republic. There was a
supercar meeting at the refreshed Masaryk Circuit in Brno. This meeting
was set-up to as a symbolic test of the official opening on Sunday! A
major attraction was undoubtedly the Bugatti Veyron and Pagani Zonda.
Next to that there were three Carrery GT’s, an Ariel Atom, an Ultima
GTR, a Lamborghini LP 640 and Gallardo Superleggera. The other Italian
proud came up with several 360 Modenas, F430’s and many others.

For every carmaker in the world counts the same rule: the more
attention you have for your clients, the better your clients are! That
isn’t different for Lamborghini that after the introduction of the Ad Personam Personlization Program,
started the process of developing its own certified pre-owned program.
This should be launched by the end of the year. According to Stephan
Winkelmann, CEO of Lamborghini, the program will be rolled out
worldwide, beginning with dealers in the U.S. and Europe.

Again a new Lamborghini will most of us think, but as far as we know
that’s never a bad thing to read about. But this time a Lamborghini
that will stay a little longer unborn due to a lack of of orders, only
3. The design is done by Italian coachbuilder Magvisio and is
impressive. The project is called “Ferruccio” and is a rebodied
Murcielago LP640 that would have been faster than any current car
wearing the Lamborghini badge, with a claimed top speed of 230mph (368
kmh).

While all supercar producers are packing together in Monaco for one
of the best shows in a year, there’s also the Concours d’Eleganza Villa
d’Este. This is an evenet for several classics and concept cars. Every
year there’s a winner selected at this show. This year the best car on
the show was the Bugatti 57SC Atalante. Also special was the special

With the new Gallardo coming on our streets soon, Premier4509
decided to create a package for the current Gallardo. Not really
surprising after they earlier came in the daylight with the Murciélago LP640.
Premier4509’s Gallardo kit consists of a new front and rear bumpers,
side skirts, a rear spoiler and optional stainless exhaust pipes. The
front end clearly draws its inspiration from the Lamborghini Reventòn.

A number of new images were released of the Lamborghini Murcielago
SV, the lightweight, rear-wheel drive version of the Lamborghini
Murcielago LP640. We already wrote about the Lamborghini Murcielago SV 6 months ago.
Although no new information is given, it looks like the 680 bhp
Murcielago SV is nearing it’s final stages of development, which makes
it likely that the official release of the Murcielago SV will be at the
Paris Motor Show later this year.


















Carshows are something we see all over the world. But in America
they have those shows, that are just a little bit different, not to say
special. In Floriday they had the St Pete’s Car Show. A lot of nice
supercars showed up including one guy with his collection of 15
Ferraris: 1 Enzo, 1 FXX, a brand new F1 car and a pair of white
Ferrari’s, a 612 Scaglietti and a 599 GTB, were there. Next to that
there was a Ferrari F40 and several other beauties. We’ve added a
selection of pictures below, you can find more pictures in our forum!

A year after introduction Lamborghini has ended the production of
it’s lightweight Gallardo Superleggera. Over the past year Lamborghini
build and delivered 172 Superleggera’s to the United States.
Interesting fact are the colors the buyers picked for their
Superleggera: 46 orange, 45 yellow, 37 black, 34 grey and 10 white.
When rounding up
our Geneva Auto Show coverage last week we already mentioned the
possible replacement of the Gallardo Superleggera. It’s certain there
will be a new lightweight version of the new Lamborghini LP560
but when that will be released is still a big unknown. To put things
into perspective, it was almost 4 years after the introduction of the
Gallardo that Lamborghini introduced it’s special and lightweight
Superleggera version. Hopefully we don’t have to wait 4 years to
welcome a LP560 Superleggera version!
